Interview: Massimo Dalla Pellegrina

TBT - banner Max

Our pit reporter finally managed to sit down with Massimo Dalla Pellegrina, the team manager of the The Burning Tires Simracing team. The Italian will divulge the reason behind his choice to contact Patrick to drive for TBT and more…

Not all of our visitors know you by name or reputation. Who are you and why did you start a simracing team?
“My name is Massimo Dalla Pellegrina, an Italian guy with a great passion for and competing in sim motor sports. After years of offline racing with GP 4, Richard Burns and Toca Touring, I entered the world of online simracing with GTR2 and rFactor.

At first I was just a driver, but in March 2008 I wanted to create an official team and a community to organize events and championships with rFactor. It’s important to enjoy simracing and to have fun online, although we did set out to create an important team on an Italian and later a global level. We are a good team and I think we are already one the way of really putting our name out there.

Every team needs a name and ultimately we have chosen for the name TBT – The Burning Tires. And to Italians there’s a funny story about the B, but for now we are pleased that our drivers are burning rubber!”
